Guild Rules Tuesday, July 29, 2008
5:44 PM

Your membership in this guild is voluntary. You continue to stay because you agree with enough of what the guild is to stay. People who leave the guild leave because they disagree more than they agree. Probably not one person agrees with everything in this charter. Thats not the point. You agree enough to stay and try to make it a better guild.

Member Ranks:
-> The Guild Master is the administrator of the guild.(1st Priority)
-> Officers coordinate and lead raids. 3-5 maximum.(1st Priority)
-> Marauders recruit and train players. Meele, Ranged, Healers and Tanks should all have officers.(1st Priority)
-> Raiders have passed trial and are respected, productive players in raids(2nd Priority)
-> Trail havn't proved themselfs to be respected, and productive players.(last Priority)
-> Members are friends and family of Raiders or Veterans.
-> Alts are alternate characters of any of the above.
-> Ban is a punishment for people who don't be have well, You'll get three chances.

Leadership:
-> officers and Marauders are volunteers. The extra work involved in leading earns leaders and officers a significant voice in all decisions.
-> Any player can (and is encouraged to) volunteer to lead, but current Marauders and officers must approve any new Marauders or officer.
-> Marauders or officers can be removed by a majority vote of the other Marauders and officers, by 4 outa 5(or 90% of maximum current Marauders or officers) votes against a raid leader or a majority of led players for an officer (i.e. if there are 9 meele and 5 of them vote against the current meele officer) submitted to the GM. Leaders and officers removed by vote become raiders for a minimum of 2 weeks, to allow tempers to cool, before they can be removed from raiding by vote.
-> A minimum of 2 raid leaders will be maintained, with a goal of 4. If there are only 2 raid leaders and no other leader volunteers, both the leaders are immune to removal, but MUST accept any other volunteer as a leader.

Recruiting:
Officers are to recruit for Skill, Dedication to raiding and for Gear, in that order.
Officers will recruit trials for classes even if they are full if they think there is any chance the trial might be better overall than our worst player in that class.
Recruiting is entirely at the discretion of that role officer, but failure to maintain the default roster level allows other officers and/or leaders to recruit for them (and replace them as officer).

Trial:
Trial players will be invited to raids and earn DKP exactly as a full raider.
Trial players may only win items that are not needed by raiders.
Trial lasts a minimum of 6 raids.
Trial is passed when 10 raiders vote "yes", or by leaders after 12 raids if 10 votes are not recieved.
Trial is failed when any raider votes "no" between 6 and 12 raids.

Removal from raiding:
Players can be demoted from Raider status for the following reasons:
10 raiders vote to remove a player in any 1 week period (all votes to GM).
Leaders and/or officers decide to remove.
Trial player is better than current player (pass trial, demote raider to member).

Raid Times:
Left Behind Raids from 6:00pm Eastern US time (AKA Server time) until 10:00pm We raid Monday Wends Thursday and Friday, take the weekend off then do a "Family and friends" night on Sunday and our final, Progression heavy raid on Monday.
Invites start at 5:30, Invites close and rotations start at 7:45, the first pull is at 6:00. Players who will be a few minutes late may call in, or leave a message for a leader and might be considered ontime.

DKP:
DKP is earned on a per-kill and per-wipe basis.
10 DKP for a farmed Boss
25 DKP for any endboss
25 DKP for any boss we have not killed 3 times already
7 DKP on any unfarmed or endboss wipe
10 DKP for showing up ontime (5:45)
Players may earn DKP outside the raid only if they are immidiately available to raid. If you click that you are on standby, then do not accept an invite to the raid you will be penalized all earned DKP for the night plus an additional 50 DKP.
If you get rotated you can do anything you want, as long as you remain online and immidiately available for the entire raid.
Bonus DKP is awarded for First kills, Endboss Kills or other significant achievements at the discretion of the Raid Leader. Rotated players earn this DKP as well.

Rotations:
Rotation is based on your roll on the DKP sign-up. Anyone force-rotated is immune to rotation the next scheduled raiding night. You may volunteer to rotate, but the leader has final authority to allow or disallow voluntary rotations. Generally speaking leaders don't care on easy farmed content.
Two Raid leaders must be present and running the current tracker for every raid, other than this no officer, Marauder or GM is immune from normal rotation rules.

Loot:
All epic and higher loot is done by silent bidding. We use a +5 bidding system, meaning the winning bid wins for the second highest bid +5 DKP. You can never pay more than your bid however.
Loot goes to the winner in this order: Main > Trial > Offspec > Alt > PvP (this means you can only win items for PvP if the only bids that came in were yours and other people who also wanted it for PvP)
Alts that are needed by the raid leader, and announced in advance of loot dropping MAY be allowed to bid as mains. This is entirely at the option of the raid leader, and will be reserved for Alts that are well geared and fill a role that their mains cannot fill (i.e. a warlock has a well geared healer Alt and we need healers).
Monday, Wensday, thursday and friday: No epic can be won for less than 25 DKP. 25 is the minimum bid.
Sunday: No epic can be won for less than 200 DKP. 200 is the minimum bid. However, on sunday any item that doesnt get a bid of 200 or more will be /random 1000 and the winner gets it for free. (this is so friends and family on sunday nights raids can earn loot without any DKP)
Any bankable Items (Gems, BOE Plans, Marks, Crafting Materials, Shards) go to the raid leader.
Roll greed on all blues and greens except bankable crafting items.

Behavior:
Insulting or abusive behavior will result in dicipline.
During a raid, the designated leader has authority over all aspects of the raid. If you have a suggestion or strategy change it is encouraged that you speak up, however when the raid leader says "quiet on vent" thats the end of the conversation. Ventrilo BELONGS to the raid leader during a raid, as does the raid chat channel. The GM owns the guild chat channel in the same way. Conversations between 2 people don't belong in any of these channels.

Dicipline:
Dicipline during a raid is entirely up to the raid leader at that time.
Dicipline may include any of the following: Raid Kick, DKP penalty, Demote in rank to Member, Ventrilo Global Mute, Removal from the guild or any other action the raid leader feels is appropriate.
Dicipline can be for any of these reasons or others: Annoying on Vent, Abusing other players, Un-announced AFK, Repeated mistakes indicating lack of attention, Not being prepared to raid (gear or consumables), not following directions or leaving the raid early.
Raid leaders are under no obligation to be "fair". Leaving the raid early one night might be significantly worse than another, or another leader may see it differently. If you don't like it, vote to remove the leader.

Matrix and Roster:
Default matrix is 3 Tanks, 5 Meele, 8 Healers and 9 Ranged. We recruit 2 players for every raid spot on the default matrix. The ideal roster at this time:

Required Mods:
Pally Power for Paladins
Omen is required for threat monitoring.
DBM is required

Strategy:
At a minimum, all players are expected to completely understand the PRIMARY available strategy available on Bosskillers.com and execute that strategy without direction.
Any change from bosskillers will be explained by the raid leader.

This charter is designed to establish a stable, self-correcting system. Special rules are not required for specific situations. The Raid Leader has authority over any situation occuring during a raid, and the Raid leaders and Officers will come to agreement over situations outside of raids. If the guild disagrees with the direction taken but leaders and/or officers there is a structure in place to easily remove some or all of them.
